Objective

The objective of creating these personas is to facilitate the successful migration from Aptify to Salesforce for the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). By understanding and categorizing the various user personas, we aim to tailor the Salesforce system to better meet the needs of different user groups, ensuring a smooth transition and improved user experience.

Persona Fields and Definitions

Each persona is defined using several key fields that capture their characteristics and requirements. Below are the fields and their definitions:

  • Description: A brief overview of the persona, including their role and primary responsibilities within AANP.
  • Current Processes: The existing tasks and workflows performed by the persona using the current system (Aptify).
  • Future Processes and Capabilities: The desired enhancements and capabilities for the persona in the new Salesforce system.
  • Security/Access: The level of access and security permissions required by the persona within Salesforce.
  • Features of the System: The relevant features and tools within Salesforce that the persona will utilize.
  • Criticality: The importance of the persona's role and their reliance on the system.
  • Tasks: The specific tasks and activities that the persona performs regularly.
  • Automations: The automated processes that can support the persona's tasks and workflows.
  • Pain Points: The challenges and limitations faced by the persona in the current system.
  • Wishlists: The desired features and improvements that the persona hopes to see in the new system.
  • Historical User Feedback: Insights and feedback from users within the persona's group, gathered from surveys and other data sources.

By thoroughly documenting these fields for each persona, we ensure that Salesforce is configured to meet the unique needs of AANP's diverse user base, leading to a more efficient and effective system.
